Hello Ladies~
Just popping in to share a quote: "Know your worth, then add Tax!"
If we search for our worth in our husband's opinion, neighbors, friends, or even ourselves on how "together" we are with our home, then we will always be disappointed and heavy hearted.
But, if we read what Scriptures tell us who we are and meditate on God's love for YOU...(not "us", big difference in our thinking) we will find our worth isn't in what we do, or what someone says about us.
Those are bonus'. Our worth is a beautiful place to see in God's eyes and our journey is where we are going when we are done walking this earth. We are promised a place in Heaven.
Know your worth, then add tax! You are worthy.
Worthy of?? Worthy of lotion on your feet. Worthy of sitting with a cup of tea outside after dinner...alone. Worthy of lunch with a friend (even if you both pack your own!) Worthy of a new set of pajamas.
There are so many women I know, we sacrifice ourselves for others. While we are called to do this as a Christian, we are not called to do it at the expense of our self worth or our health.
That is a post for another day.
