1. My head resting on my Hubby's shoulder, melts all the world away.

2. Surprise things that show up in my day to remind me God is with me.

3. My quiet time early in the morning.

4. Homemade blueberry muffins, and they only take 23 min from start to finish.

A little bird

Sometimes in the morning I go look out our kitchen window and a "little bird" has "walked" across the top of my car. He is so silly, but that's why I love him!

I hope your day is full of peace.

My garden time

I hope you all had a peaceful Easter!

I have been a bit behind since I got phone call on Easter about my Dad. Please pray his eye's and heart are opened to God. He is faced with open heart surgery next week and he, um how do I put this...is not a church going person.

Enough about that. Here are some pictures of my gardening day. I love gardening, but the weather plays a huge part in how much I'm out in it. I try to grow vegi's organically (no pesticides). This day I planted butternut squash and acorn squash. It will take 3 mths. I've never done this one before, oohh I hope they grow. I love to eat them!

Holy Week

Hello Ladies~
During this Holy Week of Easter, I feel called to give my full attention to God. So, my blog is on the bottom of my to do list for a few more days.

I would like to ask each of you to pray for those who are priest's, minister's or preacher's, as well as those who are trying to grow closer to the Lord. I am reminded that during this time of year, the emeny likes to reek havoc (?) as much as possible in people who are trying to live their life for God.

I wish you God's peace and Easter Blessings.

A bounty of blessings

God has been so good to us. My health continues to improve, He gives me the words I need as I open my Bible (I love flip & point's), my husband has joined me in prayer before bed, and my teen step-daughter is enjoying sharing with me more. Praise God!

Self portrait

I love my neon green socks! Sometimes I grab socks to reflect my mood (though I don't wear them out of the house, LOL) and this morning I grabbed these. My step-daughter said "Looks great with your BLUE skirt Mom!" I love it, it makes me laugh. Sometimes I have to be silly, it keeps the kid alive in me.

Morning prayer time

Hello Ladies~

This morning during my prayer time, the Holy Spirit led me to some interesting verses. They gave me food for thought and I wanted to share to see what you're thoughts are.

"In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised holy Spirit" Eph 1:13

" Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgive you, so must you also do. And over all these put on love, that is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of Christ control your hearts..."Col 3:12-15

"What ever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others" Col 3:23

I love the last one. This has helped me today in looking at what my motives are for doing things. Am I doing them for the Lord...or am I doing them to impress someone else? Hmm...

Catch up & Odd jobs

Hello Ladies~
Saturday is our "Odd jobs" day. I also take advantage of catching up on a few important things that I have missed through the week, like tending to our bedroom...which is a Thursday blessing. This Saturday we (yep the whole family..and hubby didn't even grumble!) went to a couple yard sale's and the open market downtown. Didn't pan out anything except hunger, so we came home. Here are a couple pictures of my catch-up things...tee hee hee I REALLY needed to catch up on what I'm doing in the first picture. ;-)

Must refuel first!

A light dusting, the fan is easily forgotten!

Of course Molly had to catch-up on play time. She loves to run in the sprinklers, goofy dog!
