For as long as I can remember, my family has called me "Garage Sale Woman". I have read folks now call it Junkin'. I got a steal on a wooden bookcase that is almost identical to what we have. (DH doesn't give away any books..so our bookcases keep growing.) A tall bookcase, like new $30, and a new summer dress and new blouse. Oh yes, a craft table lamp $5 ! I just love it when I get a good deal.~Homemakersheart
(Notice the boy's look on his face. That is about the same look I got when DH drove up with the truck to pick up the bookcase I found. I just have to love him!)

Oh well done with your bookcase find. I love a bargain like that. Its a lot more fun than going out and buying new, that's apart from the money you're saving.
I can't wait until our car-boot sales start up again around Easter time. Do you have car-boot sales?

I know just what you mean. My husband likes things best if its his idea. And, what a great bargain man he is. Its a lot of fun though...the Lord supplies many desires and needs through thankful hearts and bargain sales..
