Happy Anniversary

We celebrated 23 yrs Saturday and chose a very non-traditional way to celebrate.  We went to a local chuckwagon and had a great time. It's one of our favorite places to go when we used to visit here, before we moved here.  The picture is of the chapel on the grounds and they had this beautiful heart made with flowers.  With the waterfall near me when I took the picture, it was beautiful.

We visited some of the shops, but since we live nearby I didn't feel compelled to buy. Funny, tourist shops tend to draw you to spend.  Thankfully, we didn't.

We brought our own blanket and jackets, as it is still getting down to the 40's at night.  The show is always wonderful and the "wranglers" as they call themselves, always play God bless America in honor of all the veterans present and past.  EVERYONE stands, it's very moving.

They also sing some very silly cowboy songs.  Each season most of the songs are different so it was fun to hear what they came up with in the winter.
